- From Waterloo (South Western Railway) to Haslemere: about 50 minutes, then a 27-minute taxi ride to Duncton Mill.
- From Victoria (Southern) to Pulborough: about 1 hour 15 minutes, then a 14-minute taxi ride.
We can sometimes offer transport to and from the lakes. Ask when you book.
Before you come
Do I need a rod licence?
Yes, everyone aged 13 or over who fishes needs one. Licences start from a few pounds a day at gov.uk/fishing-licences. They are free for 13 to 16 year olds, but you still need to apply.
Do I need my own kit?
No. All equipment is provided, including rods, reels, flies, baseball caps and polarised sunglasses.
What should I wear?
Dress for the weather, with sturdy footwear. A hat and polarised sunglasses help you see the fish.
